I've lived in the Sebastopol area with my husband and two children for thirteen years, and I was thrilled when I was hired in 2011 at Salmon Creek School as the middle school Humanities teacher.
I graduated with a degree in German literature from UC Santa Barbara before I went on to get my credential from San Francisco State University. I later went back to school at Sonoma State University to earn a Master's degree in English literature, with a focus on composition pedagogy.
While I was at Sonoma State University, I taught freshman English, and before that, I taught art, English, and general subjects to 5th-8th graders in Brisbane, California.
My favorite pastimes include spending time with family and friends, reading, art, and writing. Additionally, I love gardening, hiking, backpacking, and being outdoors. I am so grateful that I can share so many of these passions at Salmon Creek.
